Official name and crystal name
Every rank has two labels. The official name is the ladder. The crystal name is the word cut into the emblem.
This page explains the written ladder. It does not apply a match, and it does not change a stored rating.
Why both exist
The engine and the profile use the official name: Recruit, Operative, Vanguard, Specialist, Veteran, Elite, Master, Grandmaster, Sovereign, A.C.E Legend.
The emblem also carries a crystal label: IRON, BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM, DIAMOND, MASTER, GRANDMASTER, IMMORTAL, ACE ELITE. That label is artwork. It does not create an eleventh rank and it does not store a second number.
Where they diverge
Specialist’s crystal label is GOLD. Veteran’s is PLATINUM. Elite’s is DIAMOND. Sovereign’s is IMMORTAL. A.C.E Legend’s is ACE ELITE. In each case the floor still belongs to the official name.
Master and Grandmaster use the same word in both places.
