A.C.E Shield
A.C.E Shield is the anti-cheat of the A.C.E desktop app. The anti-cheat page lists exactly which checks are live today; a check is shown as live only after it is enforced in real matches.
What Shield checks todayHow a decision is made
Nobody is accused by a machine. A clear signal pauses ranked play; a person decides.
- Signals
While CS2 runs, the A.C.E app checks for blocked programs and changed game files. Match servers record kills and shots, and players can report.
- A pause, not a verdict
A clear signal from the app, for example a blocked program, changed game files, a different Steam account or a computer linked to a banned account, pauses your ranked play at once. Statistics alone never restrict anyone.
- Sealed evidence
What was recorded is frozen with a SHA-256 fingerprint, so the decision is made on the same record that you can appeal against.
- A person decides
The A.C.E team reviews every case. Community reviewers can give advice, but never decide alone.
- You see it and can appeal
My cases shows the reason. You can appeal: one open appeal at a time, up to 3 in 30 days. The answer arrives as a notification; when an appeal is accepted, the restriction is lifted at once.

What we do not claim
A.C.E does not hold security certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, and we do not publish an uptime percentage until an outside monitor measures it. When that changes, it will be stated here.
